1. Bamana (Bambara) Indigo Tie‑Dye (Shibori‑like)
• Made from narrow handwoven cotton strips (usually 5–7 inches wide) stitched together.
• Patterns created with stitch resist, folding, binding, or clamping.
• Deep, layered blues from repeated dips in natural indigo vats.
• Common motifs: circles, zigzags, grids, radiating dots.
